Growth Hormone Overview
Human
Growth Hormone (HGH) is one of the many endocrine
hormones like estrogen, progesterone, testosterone,
melatonin and DHEA that decline with age. While some of
these hormones can be replaced to deter some of the
effects of aging, HGH reaches far beyond the scope of
any one of these hormones to not only slow biological
aging, but to significantly reverse aging. Between the
ages of 20 to 70, growth hormone levels in your body
fall by more than 75%.
Growth
hormone deficiency is associated with the following; a
decrease in lean body mass, a decrease in bone density,
a reduction in skin thickness, a reduction in a sense of
well-being, a slowing in the rate of wound healing, a
lessening of immune responsiveness, and a reduction in
aerobic capacity. In addition, GHD is associated with an
increase in the following, all of which have been
reduced in clinical trials of growth hormone: increases
in (LDL) , increases in arteriosclerosis, increases in
total body fat, and a general increase in
hospitalization rate and sick days from work.
All of
the symptoms of Growth Hormone Deficiency can be
significantly reversed with replacement of human growth
hormone.
Produced
in the body by the pituitary gland, it's what the name
says: the hormone that makes us grow. Doctors began
prescribing it about 35 years ago for children who were
in need of a growth boost. It first was extracted from
human cadavers then from cow carcasses. In 1985, San
Francisco-based Genentech introduced one of the first
bioengineered human growth hormones, Protopin. Now five
drug companies sell HGH in the USA; top seller
Genotropin, from Pharmacia & Upjohn.
HGH
Benefits Human Growth Hormone
By age 30, virtually
everyone is deficient in human growth hormone, resulting
in SDS, or Somatotropin (human growth hormone)
deficiency syndrome therefore needing hgh therapy
benefits. Decreased human growth hormone symptoms
include loss of muscle and an increase of fat. Low
levels of human growth hormone decreases physical
mobility, and reduces energy levels. Low levels of
growth hormone diminish the healing ability, low levels
pose a greater risk of cardiovascular disease and lower
life expectancy. In other words, these are symptoms of
the disease called aging.
Without HGH benefits,
from hgh therapy treatment, hgh hormone levels decline
with age, sometimes referred to as somatopause, which is
directly associated with many symptoms of aging,
including wrinkling, gray hair, decreased energy and
sexual function, increased body fat, cardiovascular
disease, osteoporosis and much more, thus requiring hgh therapy
treatment. Many of these symptoms have been associated
with younger adults who have hormone deficiency; in a
sense, the biological age of these adults has exceeded
their chronological age.The good news, however, is
clinical evidence demonstrates that by replacing human
growth hormone, hgh benefits will dramatically reverse
symptoms attributed to low levels hgh helping restore
hair color, growth, regain bone tissue, increase energy,
significantly reduce body fat, plus many other health
benefits from human growth hormone therapy treatment.
HGH Benefits Human Growth Hormone For Anti-Aging
In 1990, ground breaking
evidence and research on Human Growth Hormone by Daniel
Rudman, M.D. shook the medical world. (Published in the
prestigious New England Journal of Medicine) with the
announcement that 12 men, aged 61 to 81 had received
human growth hormone treatment and had reversed up to
the equivalent of 20 years of aging in six months with
human growth hormone injections. The cost for (HGH)
human growth hormone programs in the US runs from $600
to $2,500 a month.
HGH
Benefits Somatropin Deficiency Syndrome
Somatropin Deficiency
Syndrome refers to those individuals who have low levels
of growth hormone. Since the measurement of (hGH) human
growth hormone is difficult, the accepted method is to
measure Somatomedin-C,or by it's newer name, Insulin
Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1). Corning Laboratories in San
Diego, California has established their normal range of
IGF-1 to be 90-360 ug/ml. Based on the work of leading
researchers, Somatropin Deficiency Syndrome is defined
as a value below 160 ug/ml.
Growth Hormone Therapy Protocol
The Doctors follows a
protocol that involves restoring hormone levels for (hgh)
Human Growth Hormone patients who are deficient (IGF-1
less than 350 mg/ml) with low dose, high frequency
growth hormone injections. By combining
growth hormone injections with other hormones that are
shown to be low, has developed an growth hormone program
that he claims has been 100% effective for all of his
patients. He guarantees that his patients will
experience exceptional hgh benefits such as increased
bone density, decreased body fat, increased lean muscle
mass, higher energy levels, increased memory, and an
overall better of quality of life from hgh injections.
These human growth hormone treatments may continue until
the patient attains the hgh benefits a
twenty/thirty year old would experience. Once
through a cycle of hgh the doctor will prescribe
Sermorelin (ser-moe-REL-in) Acetate
which is a "growth
hormone-releasing hormone" (GHRH). This prescription drug
compounded by U.S. pharmacies pursuant to a physician's
prescription is injected subcutaneously. It stimulates
production of increased amounts of the body's own natural
human growth hormone. It is a bio-identical hormone of a growth
hormone releasing factor (GRF 1-44) that is naturally
produced by the brain to stimulate pituitary production
and the body's natural secretion of human growth hormone.
The increased volume of human growth hormone (rhGH)
produced by the pituitary causes an increase in the
production of Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1)
resulting in the benefits of treatment provided to the
adult patient.

Q: Does Human Growth
Hormone have any known side effects?
A: Yes: As with any drug there are always
pros and cons. However there have been very few reports of
patients experiencing side effects that take nominal
dosages (1-2 iu per day). The most common side effects are
mild joint pain, muscle aches, or water retension, but
these reports were patients who were taking higher doses
and once they lowered the dosage the side effects
diminished. I have not heard of anyone experiencing any
significant side effects administering 1-2iu per day. But
please keep in mind every person is different and some
react differently than others so always consult your
physician before taking hgh.
Q: Where do I
inject myself?
A: You can inject it sub-cutaneously
(just under the skin) in the stomach area or leg with an
29 - 31 gauge, 1/2 inch, 1cc insulin syringe, or
alternatively you can inject it intramuscular, however the
results from sub-cutaneous injections are more effective.
Q: How long before
I start to see results from taking HGH?
A: After about 2 months you will notice
improvements in your sleep patterns, increased appetite,
and more energy levels. The most significant results start
showing after 4 - 6 months of treatment and continually
improve and become more significant the longer you are
taking hgh.
Q: Is Human Growth
Hormone FDA approved?
A: Yes: human growth hormone is approved
for adult growth hormone deficiency.
Q: Does HGH cause
cancer?
A: All indications are that hgh does not
cause cancer. The best evidence for this comes from the
work of Dr. Chen and Dr. Terry. Chen and Terry run a
clinic where they perform HGH injections. From 1994 - 1996
they treated over 800 patients with HGH injections.
Amazingly there have not been any reports of cancer from
any of the patients. As Dr. Terry stated in Grow Young
with HGH, "With 800 people over the age of about 40, you
would think that given normal incidence rate of cancer,
some of these people would get cancer. It could be that
there is some sort of protective effect from growth
hormone replacement."
Q: If I have
cancer will it help me get better or cure it?
A:
Absolutely Not, if you take hgh and you have active cancer
cells it could speed the cancer rate up and you could face
serious injury to your health or in severe cases cause
death. Always consult your physician before taking hgh.
Q: How can I
measure my HGH levels?
A: Hgh is only present in the body for a short
period of time. However, IGF-1 (which is your insulin
growth factor) is present in the body at all times. Recent
studies show that this is the most effective way to
measure your hgh levels. Blood and saliva tests can show
your IGF-1 levels. Generally, the lower your levels, the
more you stand to gain from hgh treatment.
Q: My doctor in my
area is not familiar with hgh therapy and does not know
what tests are required and prefers not to get involved
because it is not his specialty, what do I do?
A: We now
offer a complete IGF-1 and all required blood test kit to
all our patients at a much lower cost than the high priced
anti aging clinics. Which usually charge $2800 just for
the blood work alone. We offer the complete kit delivered
to your door or at our office for $300-500.
